HUNG GAR KUNG FU
Hung Gar Kung Fu, originating from the Shao Lin Temple, is one of the renowned Wu Shu branches of China. Hung Gar Kung Fu is an effective self-defence exercise, and when continuously practised, is very healthy for the body.
Master Harry Cheung learned Hung Gar from a well-known master in Hong Kong: Grand Master Lam Jo.
Lam Jo’s master is Lam Sai Wing, who learned Hung Gar from the famous Master Wong Fai Hung. Grand Master Lam Jo has taught many students from all over the world. Harry has been practising Hung Gar for about 40 years in Hong Kong. He also has a number of years of training in Judo and Wu Shu – Modern Chinese martial art.

The Hung Gar (Hung Kuen) Class participated in the International Hung Kuen Competition in Hong Kong on November 7, 2025. Students collectively earned 2 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals, and 3 Bronze Medals.
The event featured over 150 competition categories with participants from 15 countries. Our instructor, Harry Cheung, also served as one of the 10 official judges.
