The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre's Children's Dragon Dance Team is dedicated to serving the community. As one of Chinatown's top children's performing arts programs, it offers special performance opportunities for youth. Through a blend of traditional Chinese Dragon Dance and dynamic performances, we foster teamwork, physical activity, and community involvement in a thrilling and enjoyable environment.
More than Dragon Dance
The Children's Dragon Dance team builds community. Each year, the program provides multiple performances ranging from smaller Chinatown parades to community-wide performances such as Chinese New Year.
Membership Requirements
Join a team of passionate dancers from the community, ages 7+, and form lifelong friendships while creating unforgettable memories. There are no fees to join our team, we welcome all children with a love for dance and performing.
