2026 Chinese Cultural Grand Garden Summer Program
The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre, in proud co-organization with the Harbin Normal University, is thrilled to present the 2026 Chinese Culture Grand Garden summer program!
The Chinese Culture Grand Garden is a premier, globally recognized cultural program. This summer, we are bringing experienced, world-class instructors all the way from Harbin, China, straight to Calgary. Designed to deepen children's (ages 6–14) of Chinese descent appreciation for Chinese heritage through immersive, interactive experiences, this camp offers a rich tapestry of Chinese language, traditional arts, and cultural history. We kindly invite educators, community leaders, and families to help us spread the word about this extraordinary summer experience!

(One-time $50 + GST Registration Fee per child is required to reserve your spot and support program and administration
Activities &
Courses
Our daily schedule is packed with dynamic, hands-on courses taught by master instructors. Students will explore a vibrant variety of traditional and contemporary arts, including:
*To ensure a focused and high-quality learning experience, students will be asked to select only 2 - 3 activities in total from the full list below (not 2-3 activities from each section).
Traditional Arts: Caligraphy, Chinese Painting, Chinese Paper Art, and Lacquer Art
Performing Arts: Contemporary & Ethnic Dance, Acting & Recital, and Singing.
Martial Arts & Movement: Wushu (Tai Chi), Lion Dance, and Table Tennis.
Music: Chinese Flute.
