Join us on June 29, 2024, from 11am to 6pm at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre for our first Xiang Loong Festival! This free event celebrates Chinese culture and heritage with a variety of activities for all ages. Enjoy dragon and lion dancing, live music, multicultural performances, and martial arts demonstrations. Explore our vendor market, indulge in free popcorn, and enjoy face painting and a dedicated kid's area. The festivities continue from June 29 to July 14 with even more activities and workshops. Don't miss out on this unique cultural experience!

Join us for an exciting Dragonboat Workshop at Glenmore Reservoir! 🐉✨This free workshop, open to ages 14-18, offers an exciting opportunity to learn and practice dragon boat techniques.

  • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre; 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glenmore Reservoir

 

Please note that transportation to the Glenmore Reservoir is not provided.

  • Spots Available: Limited, on a first-come, first-served basis
