The course is a practical introductory course for beginners, suitable for anyone interested in learning the language for the first time. This class is made up of comprehensive lessons and is intended to provide an overview of the language structure of Mandarin. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to communicate in simple Mandarin during daily conversation or in a business environment. Conducted in English. Includes Book & CD.

Shirley Sun was a former English teacher in university level and has more than twenty years language-teaching experiences both in China and Canada.

  Description

This course is suitable for students who are able to communicate in simple Mandarin. The teaching materials concentrate on spoken Chinese, through the characters' daily activities as presented in situational dialogues, students gradually grasp the ability to communicate in Mandarin and at the same time develop an interest in developing their understanding of the Chinese language. Book and CD included.

Description

This course is designed for native Cantonese speakers who would like to develop every day & workplace conversations in Mandarin. Students will be introduced to Chinese Phonetic (Hanyu Pinyin) which is essential to Chinese pronunciation. Additionally, it covers conversation topics in practical settings, including pronunciation, daily conversation, time & number; telephone manner, weather, an introduction of the family member, dinner & weekend activities, etc.

The skill in public speaking is used in board meetings, one on one presentations, interviews, social occasions, political speeches and countless other occasions. Learning to become articulate empowers the speaker to

communicate effectively without fear or anxiety in a public forum.

This course teaches the writing of a speech, different types of speeches, debates, speech delivery power and its tone, rhetoric, logical arguments as well as false arguments.

 For adults who want to go to secondary/Business.
