Shirley Sun was a former English teacher in university level and has more than twenty years language-teaching experiences both in China and Canada.

The teaching materials concentrate on spoken Chinese, through the characters' daily activities as presented in situational dialogues, students gradually grasp the ability to communicate in Mandarin and at the same time develop an interest in developing their understanding of the Chinese language. Book and CD included.

A practical course designed for those who are interested in learning the Cantonese dialect. Upon completion of the course, students should be familiar with the phonetics of the Cantonese dialect, and be able to communicate using simple everyday conversation using Cantonese. Conducted in English.

This course is designed for students who is a native Cantonese speaker and would like to develop everyday & workplace conversations in Mandarin.

In level I, students are introduced to Chinese Phonetic (Hanyu Pinyin). It helps you clearly grasp Chinese pronunciation. Over the course, it also covers seven conversation topics to help you express yourself in practical setting. Topics including: pronunciation, daily conversation, time & number, telephone manner, weather, introduction of family member, dinner & weekend activities etc.
